Canadian Educational Institutions

For international students, the institution and program selected can affect study permit planning, Post-Graduation Work Permit eligibility, and future academic or immigration options.

Not every program offered by a Designated Learning Institution is necessarily eligible for a PGWP, and current requirements may also depend on the type and length of the program, language results, and field of study where applicable.

Immigration Vector helps to choose an educational institution and evaluate educational options while considering both academic goals and current immigration requirements.

DLI and Program Review

For students comparing Canadian universities, colleges, polytechnics, or other institutions. We review the institution’s Designated Learning Institution status, proposed program, credential level, duration, and relevant PGWP considerations. The goal is to help students understand the immigration implications of their educational choice before making a commitment.

Admission and Study Permit Alignment

For applicants preparing to begin studies in Canada. We review the Letter of Acceptance, program details, tuition information, and other relevant documents in the context of the study permit application. Post-secondary DLIs are also required to verify Letters of Acceptance submitted with study permit applications.

Long-Term Pathway Assessment

For students considering how their institution and program may fit into future plans. We review how the selected education may connect with future employment, PGWP eligibility, and potential federal or provincial immigration pathways. Because provincial programs and selection priorities can change, this assessment is based on the rules and opportunities available at the time of review.
